A student portfolio in French, for Franco-Ontarian classes

LinoClass is a student portfolio and school-family communication tool in French. Your students add their work from the tablet, you approve what goes out, and parents follow their child's year.

Is it safe for my students?

  • Student photos, drawings and work are hosted on a server in Quebec, Canada.
  • Before seeing the class, each parent chooses what they allow: photos, videos or sound. They can change their mind at any time.
  • What your students send arrives marked “Awaiting approval”. Nothing reaches the parents' feed until you tap “Approve”.
  • No advertising, no resale of data, no AI model trained on student or parent data.
  • Invitation emails go through a subprocessor in the US: email addresses and first names only, no portfolio content. The complete list of subprocessors is in our privacy policy.
  • Deletion requests are executed within 30 days.

Ontario Regulation 52/26 and your class

Since July 1, 2026, Ontario school boards must provide written notice, in plain language, when a student's personal digital information is shared with a third-party app. This also applies to French-language school boards.

LinoClass is a third-party app. Before using it with your students, check with your principal that this notice to parents is planned. To prepare it, your board will find in our privacy policy what we collect, where it is hosted, our subprocessors and our designated privacy officer.

Has your board already chosen a platform?
